Tires Balding Inside, Need Alignment?

My tires are balding inside of the tires, due to alignment I would think. I need to save up a little more cash for some tires but how dangerous is it to drive with no tread inside portion of the tire (starting to see the white strings at some points of the tires). The outside portion has a lot of tread left. If I replace this now, I feel I wasted the life of the tire.

Any expertise regarding this issue?

yep, mine too.right after i had a alignment. I DID pump up the tires to 40lbs. of air and it slowed down. But yea, mine are wearing fast and the rest of the tire is better.

You guys have to be kidding right? The G has a camber so the inside will wear out faster than the outside. It's normal.

I understand it's normal to wear inside faster. But there is a dramatic difference from my inside tread to my outside. My outside is basically has very good tread left and inside is bald to where some of the white material is being exposed? Is this even safe? I am sure an alignment is needed because I did lower the car.

Thanks for the expertise.

Yea, but that doesn't seem like it shoudl be that way. Need Camber arms to help that out. Hard to think that Infiniti made the car that way, although I know they did.

Strings showing is dangerous. Tire is weakened.

Thanks for the feedback. My concern was that this is hazardous, not only to myself but other drives. Unfortunately the G is the only ride for now and I have to get to work, which is only 15 miles from the house (non-highway). Only a bit of the cord is exposed in the inside tread... can I wait a bit longer to get new tires or do you recommend not to even drive the car.

Does anyone with a G35c NOT have excessive inner wear on their front tires? I noticed the site above has a form for G35 owners to report their issues. Might do that in case the 350Z tire class action ever makes it's way over to our side.

Mine is the opposite... all 4 tires wear on the outside slightly faster... even after proper alignment. 07 5AT with 19" rays.

Tires on all 4 wheels are wearing faster on the inside than the outside of the wheel I have had alignment; however, that did not fix the problem yesterday I had to replace both rear tires. I notice the front is having the same problem will have to replace them in the next month. How can this problem be fixed without me having to buy tires all the time?

Im dumped on BC coilovers, my fronts show absolutely no wear at all and the camber is ridiculous. My rears however are wearing on the inside and they have about 1 degree less camber than the fronts... weird. Running Ichiba camber arms

-1.5 all around.. more inner wear on my rears due to some toe. Up front I'm at 0 toe, wearing pretty evenly on my current tires..

I just installed my rear SPC camber kit today. Before the installation my camber was sitting at almost -2 degrees on stock suspension. What's disgusting is I was within Infiniti's specs!

Anyways, I am in the exact same situation as you. My passenger rear tire is beginning to show the inner white layer of the tire. Even though the tire will be wearing much more evenly and consistently now, I am going to purchase new tires anyways. I'd rather do that, than have something bad happen because I wanted to be cheap.
