Removing power hardness to headlight

Alright guys im currently trying to take off my headlights and ive been at it for like 20 minutes and i have NO idea how to unplug the harness to the headlight.
Is it a clip or something?
I tugged on the wire a little bit to see if it budged but i dont think thats it, i cant find a clip anywhere on the dam thing and its like 100 degrees outside..

and yes i have searched and came upon this thread that shows it to unclip the harness but wtf!!!!

I went through this problem, then I found out how easy it was lol. All to you have to do it take your time and wiggle it of its mount. If it still doesn't work use a long nose pilers and do it remember not to use to much force it could snap the clip. Just be paitient it'll come come out !!

OMFG its so fustrating, especially if you have big hands.. was it easier to reach from the bottom or the top of the headlight?

Btw is there any clips to it? do you just pull on it hard because this is rediculous lol

edit - blah i found other threads on how to do it now.. time to get back at it..
its making me cry :[

there's a simple little push clip right in the middle sort of hard to see and feel for if you're doing it blindly. Some people say they have no problems unclipping it just by using their fingernails, but I personally have never been able to unclip it without a small flathead screwdriver wedged in to press the clip so it frees one of the sides.

I suggest you do the same, it unclips in a second if you go at it this way

When it comes out you'll be kicking your self on how easy it is. That was also the hardest part for me. When I got it out i put lubricant on it because I know ill be taking it out again soon. I took it out from the bottom and no there's no clips. At one point i got so frustrated that I was going to break it but then it came out.

It is annoying. I use a flat head screwdriver now because it takes a toll on my fingernail.

flathead wins...and btw for future removal, i suggest unmounting the plug from the clip on the headlight...this in turn will give u much more play with your wires and make things easier for future removal

wow just took out my headlights today for the first time and i had so much trouble with the stupid clip you have to push down. Once you actually get it out and see how the clip works it becomes a lot easier the next time. What a pain in the a$$ though!
