removing the rear springs

when removing the rear springs, do you have to loosen the toe bolts?
Some people said you need to because if not, you can mess up the area where the bolts contact (forgot what it's called).
I saw 1 DIY on replacing springs that did not loosen the toe bolts. He might have skipped the step, idk.
One more thing, is it necessary to compress the stock spring when removing it?

Just loosen the nut and bolt holding the spring bucket to the hub. Place a jack underneath the spring bucket. Remove the bolt, lower the jack, push down on the spring bucket and the spring will come out. VERY easy. No need to loosen or remove the toe bolts.

You DO NOT need a spring compressor to remove/install rear springs. Once you take the bolt out, lower the lower spring bucket with a floor jack the spring will come loose. Push down on the spring bucket and the spring will literally fall out.

When installing, put the spring in the spring bucket and raise it with a floor jack and reinstall the nut and bolt. That's it.

No you don't have to touch the toes bolts. just the bolt for the spring housing. and then when that comes out, just kick the housing down and pull the spring out.

I had to loosen the toe bolt just a bit when I did mine because the spring bucket wouldn't come all the way down without doing so.

I just stepped on the bucket and made it go lower to get mine out. I didn't touch the toe bolt at all. I did mine yesterday and the front's today. Front was a pain for the first side. The second side went a lot smoother. But thats how it always goes.

the worst part of the front is that the spring was in a diff spot so when trying to re-install the UCA bolt it was in the way. I was like ***....Took some time and I got it in. I learned from that experience and did the other side a lil bit differently.

i managed to take out the springs without loosening the toe bolts. BUT F***, the first side i tried to take it out, my pinky got CLIPPED between the spring and the bucket, and the spring f***king flew away. My pinky is freaking soar as hell right now. I was like..am i going to be able to feel my pinky again? When i was trying to take it out, I forced to take out the spring instead of trying to push down more to free the spring. The next spring i used the compressor (one compressor only because there wasn't enuff room to put the other compressor). I didn't compress it much but it was easier to take it out.
