Car won't shift into park

I just took apart my dash to install an aux input and just finished putting everything back. However, I can't get it to shift back into park. I had it in Drive to take out the headunit out and now it'll go anywhere except park. Does anyone know what I can do about this?

Thanks,
Tom

Make sure you put the shifter back through the rectangular plastic hole that slides. I did the exact same thing.

Isn't it great to have knowledgeable members here on DRIVER when you need to be bailed out? That's the best thing about DRIVER, members helping each other....

Did the same thing when I installed mine, how are you liking the direct connect for the Ipod?

Check out this http://myg35mods.com/tutorials/ipod/index.html

It helped me a lot and I love the direct connect. No more searching through radio stations.. that was the worst
