Im actually thinking about grafting G37 headlights on my G35. Ive done headlight and tail light conversions before so its nothing new to me. The good thing is that the G37 and G35 have similar noses so my fab and bodywork isnt going to be that bad. On the look out for OEM G37 headlights now so I can start bodywork when I park the car for the winter.

But the NISMO looks good. I also shaved the sidemarker lights on mine.

Hah, if that's the case then we are triplets, because iseechris is the same as well.

Except... both me and iseechris have wingless trunks and you've still got the whale tail. So, I guess that makes you like the mutated, reject of us triplets.

I would be very interested in how this turns out. Please let me know when you are considering doing this conversion I would love to do my car at the same time! You have your own bodyshop or have a good connection? Any idea how much oem g37 headlights run?

My old man did bodywork for over 25 years so I learned everything from him. Ive been doing bodywork for about 10 years just on my own. Seems like everywhere Ive worked the past few years is a shop enviroment so I have areas to do bodywork and paint work. Ive also sprayed stuff in my garage if I dont have anywhere else to spray. Im gonna talk to a friend of mine who has a lot of contacts with salvage yards to see if he can find me a set. Ill be opening them up and color matching them OB. Nothing in stone yet but Ive been thinking about the G37 headlights lately and how much better they look. I think headlights and tail lights are one of the best features of cars these days.
