I'm taking my Coupe in for her first service tomorrow so I was just wondering what to expect? Is it just an overpriced oil change? Prices? By the way it is Infiniti of West Chester, PA.

I paid $30.70 for my first dealer oil/filter change while I waited.

This is a chance to get to know your service department. And while your car is under warranty, they'll check/replace things notorious for early repair on the g35 like the brakes/rotors.

Advice: don't let them wash it (unless you like scratches), ask if you can get cheaper rate waiting (since don't need loaner), switch to Mobil 1 on your second service and bring in your own oil.

I think the first oil change is usually free. I dont know if all dealers do that but I know my dealer does it. You should find out.

Just got back and yes it was free. All they do is an oil change and "inspect" things. I also had them fix the trunk liner coming away from the seams around the trunk opening.

even though dealer gave me comp oil change, i took it to local shop. dealer is about 40 minutes away and the $ wasn't worth the effort.

there is a local shop by me where you can tell the owner is really into cars, not a jiffy lube type of place.

though he did charge me a drop extra (which he warned in advance) because of big plastic thing under car.
