Pretty much all of the VW guys weld filler plates on their hoods to create permanent eyelids.

I guess some of them could have done that... but the rest of the world would just get a Boser hood or a replica Boser hood... and their lineup of parts aren't just limited to Audis and Volkswagens, nor are they all metal. There are carbon fiber versions of these hoods out there, I'm just not sure if they are genuine Boser parts or replicas.

to me eyelids look as silly as blacking out your head/tail lights....why reduce a portion of your lighting?

Why slam your car so low to the ground that you can't get over speed bumps without turning your car into a seesaw?

It's just personal preference. I think smoked/black out lights are the worst thing you can do on these cars, maybe second only to the GTR bumper, but tons of people seem to like the look. Different strokes for different folks.

smoked or blacked out lights are for a color scheme. the red looks stupid. im running a black/grey theme so im going to get my tailights opaque black so its dark but not pitch black. itd look foolish to leave my tails red when im tinted with black rims and a flat black grill....think about that.

How is it possible to have the hood overlap the headlights without there being an ugly bump where they overlap? I understand that by shaving off some of the hood and the some of the headlights it would make both fit flush. The aggressive look looks really neat though.
