Where'd you get yours? People on my350z claim their vendor sells it for 4K where as this one you can get for mid 2k
I also got mine from mike@blackline on my350z. Paid less than 4k for the 8/6pot 15"/14" rotors. I added up the front and rear kit from phatboy's site, after currency exchange from British pounds to dollars, it comes out to over 3k for the same parts. And that doesn't include the VAT and import tax.

I really don't mean to put down your bbk or the vendor you got your brakes from, OP. But in the sake of saving my fellow forum members some money, you can get get the same exact kits from Alliance from the my350z vendor for less money. Though you are limited to black, pc'ed red, gold, or blue colors.

Pricing from the vendor's thread:
For front only setups, PM me!
15" 8P front / 14" 6P rear: 3880 (One time special pricing for this sale)
14" 8P front / 14" 6P rear: 3880
14" 6P front / 14" 6P rear: 3775
14" 6P front / 13" 4P rear: 3685

These prices are shipped btw.

OR, you can order from Phatboy's site....

For the record, I paid even less than the prices above for my kit.

^^thanks, i also got a "feeling" you'll be seeing these kits rebranded and sold by a vendor on here at very competative pricing soon.

not sure what the true cost to say import to cali would be but according to the seller
1. I'm not sure why everyone is saying that there are all these hidden charges involved. I advertise my kits honestly and fairly and am not trying to hide anything from anyone. The prices on my website include postage to the USA, and as I have stated customers will be liable to import tax and VAT (a total of about 20% in UK, not sure about individual states in USA). However, my customers never pay more than GBP60 on tax once the kit has arrived in their country (please e-mail for details). That is all you need to pay, I've never heard of broker fees for delivery companies, so I don't know where that comment has come from.
So adding up phatboy's http://phatboybrakes.com/380mm-8-Pot-Kit-FRONT.php + http://phatboybrakes.com/356mm-6-Pot-Kit-REAR.php (I assumed the most expensive sizing + 60 for import = 2,088GBP = about $3238.70. And this doesn't assume he would combine shipping. So a minimum of $600 savings, which I feel is a pretty good amount considering the total amount is about 4k making it about a 15% savings at least.

I wouldn't be surprised if that happened. I've actually always wondered why no one sells them on this forum, a lot of people don't even know they exist. And although they are somewhat new, the quality of the kits is excellent and I've yet to see any negative review about their looks, performance, or quality.

I agree, the cheapest route would be to order from phatboy's site. Personally, I wouldn't, simply because I don't feel comfortable sending $3k+ to some unknown guy over in Taiwan. The payment plans from the vendor are pretty convenient too, for those who don't have that much cash to drop down at once.

Just wanted to chime in here but am I correct in understanding you need to pay $250 for international shipping from Taiwan or wherever they're made?

What company requires you to pay the shipping from the factory?? Am I the only person that thinks this is rediculus??

If I buy a Nismo part from somewhere they will require that I pay shipping from their location in the US, not from Japan!! That should be the vendor or manufacturer cost. Any real companies will not expect you to pay that shipping on any product whether it be a computer, phone, or car part.
