Anyone here have access to a 5AT, z-tube sound clip? I hear things about a "whistle" or something and I wanted to hear it before i got it. Also I'm thinking of just using the stock air filter. Thanks in advance!

 

That'll be hard to find. You wouldn't be able to hear a difference in a video anyway. The difference in sound is not that noticeable. It just roars a little more above 4,000rpm, that's it.

 

I've got a couple of video clips (with sound) - but those are off of my 6MT w/ Z tube and Pop charger.

yes, i'm definately interested, though I do have a 5AT. Thanks for your help.

 

the z tube adds almost what I'd describe as an aircraft propeller engine noise. It's more noticeable in a parking garage. On the road, it makes the intake sound more agressive under load, starting in the high 2k rpm range.
