Considering selling the G for an NSX. Thoughts?

Well, My dad has been thinking about selling his NSX and a few days ago offered it to me if I sell my G. Basically he would take whatever I got from selling my car, minus my aftermarket parts, (those would be sold to puchase stuff for the nsx) and give me nsx in exchange. The NSX is a '94 and has a few aftermarket goodies such has a full comptech exhaust system including headers, a heavy duty clutch and lightweight flywheel among a few other things. What do you guys think?

No lie the nsx is a beautiful machine. Go to www.jadecrew.com and look under drivers. A good friend russ has a full jgtc built nsx.

I would do it. You know the condition of the car and the maintenance history, not to mention an NSX is or will be a collectors car, and the G35 is...not. This sounds like a deal you cannot pass up.

Sell your G35, use the aftermarket parts money to buy a DD, and take care of that NSX.

Is your G a daily driver? I wouldn't use a NSX as a daily. But if I was in the same situation, I would do it. My next car is either a NSX or a Lexus GS Hybrid.

He would definitely get more money, but I think he sort of wants to keep the car in the family and he has more cars than he needs. the car is in great mechanical condition and is sitting at about 100k miles, very similar to my G.

No custom color for the g if I do this, but if I get the nsx, maybe a custom color would be in order for it instead

^ If there's nothing wrong with the paint on the NSX, I would keep it OEM.
