Despite the fact that I am liking my wheels more and more every day, there is definately one thing I really like about my black wheels!
Without a doubt, at 250+ miles after cleaning the stock silver wheels, they would be covered with brake dust and ready for another cleaning! Not the case with having them black

Have a look at around 300 miles!

I don't like them, because they look a little bit cheap. If u buy the one with silver lip might be better =)

I've actually seen black chromed OEM 18" on a G and they look fabulous. I'm not a fan of black/gunmetal/chrome but a combination of the two looked nice.

 

looks different...i like that you are a risk taker....you are right about not having to clean those wheels as often as the rest of us do, so there an added bonus right there

 

I think it looks original and job well done!

 

I agree with the cleaning aspects as it is starting to become a real pain, but like the sound of the black and chrome combination, anyone know what brand they are or even have a pic?

I agree with you, swaybars soon, I need to hear your test pipes, more HP is needed too =) !!! I installed a short tube intake today, noise is much throatier, seems a bit (??) crisper on throttle response, but not sure that there is more power? The sound makes it sound faster, but you know how that goes! This is sort of a mish mosh of an intake, Injen (filter) and another brand of tubing, nice quality however!

Ooh, I was mistaken then... although the chromed black actually looks good to me--I was under the impression that the spokes were black, and the lip (or the area around the spokes) were chromed, I think that might look good too... altho I might be way off!
