sketo- I had the same "Low speed LOUD RUMBLE" when I bought my 04 DG 6mt. I thought bearings were the issue to, but there really wasn't any vibration as much as just REALLY LOUD road noise.

Anyway I drove it like that for about a year until I got my new rims and tires this spring, and now the noise is GONE! So the only thing I can think of was that I got a bad batch of rims, and or tires? Either way with the new tire and rim combo I've gone about 7 months with no noise at all, silky smooth and quite!

I got it on amazon. i wanted something to match the dash. The color match looks better in the pictures than in-person. But it's still pretty close.

Appl3
I filled the gap with this trim ring
btw, please remove your zip-ties!
ty and i wish i can remove my ziptie but i cant if i remove it my plates fall off. its stupid how infiniti designed it where u have you mount it on the bumper and theres no bracket behind the bumper...

Sounds like I'm borrowing a set of rims n tires from a friend! My initial suspicions were bad tire or imbalanced/crooked rim since my uncle had a similar, but lot quieter noise and cause on his car.

Door locks (crap), window motors (crap), and there's a known issue of the wires in the trunk that go to the trunk popper actuator can snap when you close the trunk.
When this happens, the wires must be extended. It's not a fuse or anything.
So when your trunk stops working, try not to be surprised.

There are threads for all of these fixes.

Def was the tires! Replaced the fronts with my friend's oem and it was gone! Looks like I'm tire shopping!

Early 2003 6mt here,

For the axle click, all I had to do was tighten the nut at the center of the hub

+1 on driver window motor issues

Also, check out the TSB for the window track pad fix if the inside of your windows have grease streaks.

+1 on upgrading to 06/07 projector headlights

And search for the thread on how to eliminate rear view mirror buzzing.. It doesn't sound like it's coming from the rear view mirror until you hold it down and it stops and you realize it was, but that the sound bounces off the windshield and seems like it's coming from the dash.. Very annoying lol

On my '04 w/34K I've had:
- Axle click (fixed under warranty under TSB)
- Broken driver seat bracket (warranty fix)
- Fuel tank sending unit (replaced 2x under warranty)
- A few minor squeaks/rattles (sunroof and glove compartment fixed under warranty, something coming from right rear near shock area not yet addressed)

Otherwise, everything else has been rock solid. I have not yet looked at my plugs yet to see if there's any oil leaking although the dealer told me there wasn't when I asked them to check in March.
