so would it be fair to say that the blow by could have been lowering my octane and/or causing enough issues to where I would be getting my ping between 2-3K under load ?? it ONLY happens when the car is very warm to hot .. I put in colder plugs, I only run shell 93 (have never run anything else in the one year I've had this car) and it's actually a new engine replaced from the OC issue approx. 9-10 months ago .. could the oil have caused carbon buildup and/or other issues and I just need to let it run its course until I'll be ping free ?? this ping under load has been the ONLY part of owning this car that annoys me and even my dealer doesn't have a clue .. a ping that only comes up due to temperature worries me since it's non-existant for the first 20 minutes or so of driving no matter what gear or how much load I put on the car .. frustrating for someone with a N/A ..

Well considering it's pretty damn audible .. My ears lol .. When I first got the car I thought it was pinging from bad gas but that just can't be the case and the fact that it only does it after 20-30 mins of driving when the engine gets hot makes this even more confusing .. Timing, A/F ratio .. No idea which way to go but the dealer is worthless as I've went there for this and they've said carbon buildup, treated it and sent me on my way but I'm thinking they treated the carbon but not WHY it was accumulating so quickly .. I'm sure the fact that I drive 95% city and 5% highway adds to the carbon but pinging is bull**** for what we've paid for on these cars
