Developing of Tranny Prob..?

just started to notice that when I shift my car out of park into reverse, espcecially on an incline, its very rough.. when im on my flat ground, its not as noticeable but you can tell somethings up... when i park on an incline, i first put the parking brake on, all the way, then id shift it from P to D... its helps a tad...

so quesiton is.. is it the mounts? or is there a problem developing with my 5AT?

help is appreciated before taking it to stealership

Try this before turning off the engine:

Left foot put parking brake in all the way > Shift to N > Let go both brakes > Put in P after the car completely stays still.

^ Yup. That way what's holding your car is the parking break and not your tranny. MUCH less stress when shifting out of P.

Some people do the same thing with manuals too... They leave it in first and let the gear catch the car, then put the parking break on... /facepalm. Other way around please.

That is the same for all AT's. Need to put the break on first. It does it in my wife's MDX too. Make sure the brake is on before you shift into Park.
