VLSD replaced under warranty, anyone?

I just got done replacing my rear diff fluid and went to an empty parking lot to see if I could tell any difference in the wheel slip. (Found out when I got back and googled it, that the fluid that operates the limited slip function is factory sealed and can't be replaced without replacing the whole unit.) Anyway, while spinning the wheels a little in the parking lot, it really seemed like my diff was acting more like an open differential. As VLSD's fail, they basically become an open differential (according to wikipedia anyway).

So I was wondering, has anybody had their VLSD unit replaced by the dealer under warranty? If so, I would like to try to get it done.

I experienced the same thing the first time I took my G out in the rain. I was pretty disappointed when I could not get her sideways

My factory vlsd only works after the tires have been spinning for a little bit it bascially has to get a little warm before it starts to stick. But genernally I have no problems getting both tires to spin.
