Flywheel/Clutch install

My trans sh*t the bed the other day and i thought it was jsut the flywheel cuz the one i have is aftermarket. The mechanic goes to install the flywheel and tells me my clutch is trash 8 months after an infiniti dealer swapped my trans under warranty and told me my clutch was fine? I drive how a G is supposed to be driven but i dont beat on it so i dont understand. I ordered a new clutch and the shop doing the work says they need an extra hour of labor to install the clutch. Doesnt the clutch have to come out to replace the flywheel? need to know if i should fight them on the extra hour of labor. Thanks.

An hour is a lot. Alldata shows an add'l .20 hrs (or 12 minutes) for the flywheel after the clutch is out. Could an aftermarket flywheel take out an OE clutch?

No, originally they were just replacing the flywheel with a stock on. when the opened it up they said i need a new clutch. so i ordered a stock clutch and they want an extra hour of labor even though they took both the clutch and flywheel out already....

i would definitely fight them on that and say 1/2 hour at most since everything is basically done. I'm sure they just want an hour in labor to make up some $$$ (mark up) since they didn't make money selling the part.
