It's a nation wide law that your side markers and turn signals must be amber! Why give the cops a reason to pull you over? If they pull you over they'll check other things like tint, exhaust and front license plate....ticket could get deep/costly.

Have you considered getting switchback leds? They give you the white running led look and then switch to amber for turn signal.
