You're gonna get a lot of opinions on which intake setup is best. Unfortunately, there is no clear-cut answer.

Don't forget the rev-up airbox w/drop in filter.

If all you want is sound, get a popcharger and call it a day.

from my research....the r2c filter assembly with a cf/plastic ztube would be the best performing and still have the sound you want.

plastic/carbon = no heat sink... so for performance id stay away from the metals..

metals look alot cleaner...

personally.. id go for something along the lines of whats in the link above.. (straight tube right to filter, with the backing of the stock air box...) but if possible.. go with plastic/carbon or wrap it up in heatwrap..

goodluck.

(i love how im stock and i give advice on aftermarket parts)

but im just that good.

^ is the whistle really THAT profound?
I mean i hear people talking about the sound but is it really that loud to be mistaken as a BOV?

searched high and low? what other answers do you expect from this thread without more specific questions? there are a million threads out there with people just arguing for different intakes and saying actually how they are worthless performance wise.

Well I guess I should have been more specific. I mean I found threads on certain intakes but from peoples perspective who maybe have had one and then switched out with another. I did put out two examples and was kinda looking for which one would be chosen over the other. My fault asking a question in such a broad subject, just trying to get the right input before I throw some money down and in the long run I wanna know it was money well spent.

In choosing between jwt and stillen it depends on what you want/are willing to give up. JWT you get more sound but you get more "heatsoak". Stillen is the opposite. It really depends on what you choose to be more important.

The R2C is my recommendation as well. Best flowing filter on the market and seals against the hood to help cut down on heat soak. And yes, I have a metal intake tube but it's just for bling!
