6500 RPM and 7000 RPM redline
6500 RPM and 7000 RPM redline
so the 06-07 G35 has RevUp and can go up to 7k RPM
the 03-05 has no RevUp and only can go 6500 RPM
is there like thing that you can change so the 03-05 can hit 7k RPM redline? i mean their both v6 3.5L so why not?

Thanks, where i can find this for a good price?
Edit: Nevermind i think i found it. So its call a Cobb Tuning. Basiclly you just gotta use that to reprogram the ECU?

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Don't go with Cobb. They have discontinued the platform for the Nissan cars to focus their efforts in the world of FI. Osiris is your best choice. Here's a list of authorized dealers that can help you, not sure when it's been updated. https://g35driver.com/forums/tuner-d...directory.html
+1 on Osiris...and the VQ non-revup not making power above 6500 is simply not true. this depends on your mods as I have personally seen many non-revups with bolt ons make power even past 7000 on the dyno.
I assuming aftermarket headers would give you some nice pull even past 6500 w/ a proper tune on the non-revups.
I have headers and a tune and my max HP was mid 6K. My car will rev to 7,300 RPM but I never dynod that high since the power maintained the same up to 7K. I do agree that different mods will have different results though.

Like some others here mentioned, it's probably pointless to raise the rev limit because the car won't make any additional power through that rev range.
Headers are not going to shift where the car makes its peak power. Cams? That's a different story.
