When VDC OFF and pushed hard I get crazy understeer... What mods can I get to cut down on some understeer??????

 

Wider front wheels and tires. And just wider wheels in general as long as there not to big. I lowered mine with springs and that helped to.

when initiating a turn our cars will understeer unless you get the car to slide a bit. you will find that they will feel very neutral and perdictable if you just enter the turn correctly. try snapping the wheel during the initiation of the turn in the direction that you would like to go a little more than would feel natural, and also feed some power at the same time.

I dont think ive ever had this problem it usually goes right where i want it you just need to learn how to drive it. And its a little bit of physics too if you have wider tires in back then most likely your front is gonna slide first try putting some weight in the back of your car to even it out or relocate things like your battery to your trunk and well get a better 50/50 distribution... my .02

 

well when you push your car you tend to take it to it's limits.

sways would def help, along with wider tires which everybody else has already mentioned...

 

I have an 05 6MT with sport tune suspension and its very predictable almost feels neutral and sometimes little oversteer but never understeer. When you take a curve or turn try front loading or as you turn you should feel the car drop and the rear slowly side out but in control. Also control the throttle and try to feel your car.

 

You said wider wheels, not better tires. And stiffer suspension meaning coils or aftermarket struts.

I am running 245/40R19 and 275/35R19 on my sedan, I also have tein Basics, If I am turning, I accelerate while the turning and the rear end will push its self in the opposite direction... It just feels so good and natural, I know when it was bone stock, I couldnt do it!
