general 0-60 times

Hey guys, it was a beautiful night after work so i decided to take my baby out for a spin
The weather in houston just dropped today and its amazing out, it was around 65 tonight when i was driving and i was doing timed 0-60's
i brake torqued to 2500ish and when i felt the hook i would nail it
That being said, i tried using a stopwatch and the lowest i got my 0-60 was around 5.735 seconds
My car has a full custom exhaust with HFCs, i know there was some error on my pressing the button part
i feel like its below 5.5seconds
do you think thatd be a good number to give someone if they ever asked?
what are your 0-60s?

yea thats a normal 0-60 time for our cars! so yea you could say that i think stock i was at 5.7-5.8... so i mean with about the extra 15 hp give or take depending on your exhaust would weild u a minus -.1 if that

G35s have great passing power, but as for 0-60, I don't think so...

what is so bad about mid 5 second 0-60s? the vq35de isn't exactly a top end beast(especially not for you automatic guys) 0-60 is pretty much all you can brag about

Very inaccurate. Try using one of these to test your 0-60

you test 0-60 with a stopwatch because A. you can't react quick enough for an acurate number and B. the speedometer isn't all that accurate either. I mean if you only care to be within half a second or so fine but if you wanted an accurate time you would need legit timing devices that magazines use
