Do people buy just the g35 minus the motor? just curious as i may sell mine because they cost a little more than I can currently afford.

yes because some people can score a used motor for cheap and install by their self.

 

cheapest ebay motor i see is around $1500 but thats 60k+ miles... any idea of other places that sell motors?

 

I personally think that price is fair. your best bet is your local junkyard or any nissan/ Infiniti recycle center. buying from private you are running a risk of no warranty.

 

Yea I agree with that but there is a huge price difference as well.... I do have a question though... Why would someone drill a hole into the block?? for an oil line for a turbo or is that even necessary? someone drilled a hole in my block and threaded a bolt in there to close it up...
