If you get a rev up you will need a new ecu and some sensors. Just get a non rev up.

Unususal to have OC issues with a non-rev motor. Replacing it with a rev-up motor would only cause you further issues. Non Rev-up would be your best bet since your history isn't great! Do you ever change your oil....?

forget DE, or DE revup go HR

since you're thinking about revup anyways. the hassle of going revup will be the same as going HR.

The HR motor would be nice but it would be much easier to replace with a non rev-up.

I too want to know what caused the engine to blow.

I am the second owner i bought it when it had 56,000 miles it now has 76,000 and iv'e had it for about a year and a half now mostly highway miles i was in the military and used to travel alot but now im out and i've been pretty good with changing the oil every 3,000 miles.. i do drive it pretty rough but never red line it i always just haul *** on the highway up to about 5k rpm when i do and never drift it or anything so not sure if maybe the previous owner abused it..i had the clutch and flywheel replaced at 66,000 i think im going to go with a non rev up and use a different synthetic oil
