Some interesting numbers
Some interesting numbers
Well, we went to an 1/8th mile track on friday and I was able to dyno today. As far as the track my best time was 9.486 at 76.02mph which from looking around that would probably end up being around 14.5 at a 1/4 mile. (btw this was my first time ever at a track) with a reaction time of .627 with .500 being perfect. Oh yeah my best 60 ft was 2.2, I could not get traction at all. I would burn out all through first, second, and half way through third. I began launching at 1500rpm and it got a little better but I still spun the wheels.
I'm just wondering what would the ET @ 594 ft mean vs. the actual time that I got? As for the dyno, very dissapointing 228rwhp. Considering I have RT Cats and the Nismo exhaust I would have at least thought I was in the high 230's. But there was a supercharged Z that dyno'd 320 at the wheels before and only 285 today.. this was the story for all of the cars that were dyno'd today, lower numbers than ever before.

Re: Some interesting numbers
14.5 is not too bad. Do you have a 6spd or 5AT?? I went to the track last week and hit 14.6@98mph with my 5AT G35c with NO brake torque launch. The track was very slick so i too had no traction. I probably could hit 14.3's with better track conditions. Oh and my car is stock.
Re: Some interesting numbers
hmm 228 whp with mods?
I dynoed at 230 all stock.. i guess some mods don't help.
