NAV - Door open
I was driving and turned on the NAV and there was a message on the screen "Caution door open". No doors were open and the door light on the dash was not on. I pressed the joy stick and the message disappeared but it returned in about 2 minutes. Has anyone had this problem.

In my infinite boredom one day I decided to play with that feature. It will pop up if either the drivers or passengers door is open, or the trunk, but NOT the hood. And yes, I looked really funny driving my car 5mph with the hood open up and down my street.
Also, if the trunk is open the factory security system will not arm properly.

Speaking of the trunk...has anyone came back to their car to find their trunk open? I don't mean wide open, I just mean like you hit the trunk release on the keyfob & didn't touch it.
This happened to me...it was strange. It's possible, but unlikely that I accidentally hit the button while it was in my pocket...

That's a strange one. You'd think that if an open door, trunk, or faulty switch prompted an open door warning on the NAV, it would also prompt the dash warning.
If it were mine, I'd disconnect the batt. overnight to reset everything, and see if it resets itself. If not, it may be a glitch in the Navi. See the dealer.

It was the trunk was open. The trunk does not trigger the dash door light but does trigger the NAV.

The navigation actually does more things than we're probably aware of. I remember when I spun out into the curb and my left rear wheel was sitting inwards...I drove the thing for like a mile that way because I thought it was a flat tire at first. Anyways, the tires were howling and navigation was taken over by VDC. It said something like, "VDC MALFUNCTION" or some crazy thing like that, it was weird. Basically it was trying to say "YOURE OWNED, PULL OVER." Weird stuff.....
