Holes!!
We drove back to Houston [4 hours] to pick up license plates and switch out dashes [black --> titanium] and we called a week ago and told our sales guy to make the apt. for us. So we get down there, nice as ever and our sales guy kicks ***! Anywho, before we ever bought the car I made it a point: DO NOT put a front license plate on the car. I said this several times on this next visit and I also told them to change the oil [1400 miles]. So they get done and I come back to the deal and I see the car, I say my farewells and ask if the front plate is IN the car and they say yes so I'm like ok cool
I hop in and head home [4 hours again]. I stop for gas about 1 hour from home and as I walk back out...what do I see?

OK, maybe they didnt drill holes...I get home take it off...sure enough, 2 nice drill holes and the plastic thingy that covers that tow is gone and not in the car. I call the sales guy and as cool as he is I had to bitch to him...ALOT. He said he would fix it but how? I dont want the holes filled, sanded and painted back, I want a new bumper!!
Heres my question...is there anyway I can just get money from this? Like..they would have to replace my front bumper anyway, can I just get $$$ and go buy a body kit? Or do you think they'll fix it and send me on my way? Also, if I want a new stock bumper will they give it to me or be gay and just fill the holes?

Most likely they will take a new bumper off another coupe and give it to you or just fix it. They probably won't give you money because they will loose money. Most dealers have their own bodyshop and it costs them nothing to fix this.
A similar incident happen to me. The dealer scratched my rear bumper. They wanted to repaint it because they have their own bodyshop. It was a new car and I didn't want it repainted so they just swap bumpers with a new TL.

Did you get it in writing that they were not supposed to put a front plate on? Does the law in your state require a front plate? Does the law in your state require the dealer to install a front plate? I bought mine out of state from Grubb's and they didn't install a front plate but provided the necessary hardware. Haven't had a problem yet.

I did not notice because when I got back to the dealer my car was parked in a parking place with the front away from me, I just got out to it, opened the door, got in and drove off. [My sis had wrecked her car and it was stressful] So I trusted the dealer did what I asked 4 or 5 times.

I did not get it in writing, do I need to get it in writing to use a certain kind of oil, air filter, or how to sit in my seats? I know that he did write down something about my license plates on the tag they put in the window. I am in Texas and we do need a front plate - I have never had a front plate on any of my cars and am more then willing to pay a fine....

Probably cuz like all of us when we got our G's, he was just too excited to get driving it then staring at it to look it over! Just a guess! I did almost the same thing except I totally blanked before I picked her up and forgot to tell them not to put the plate on!!!
