Willow dashboard reflection

I've got a 2003 G35 coupe 6MT with Willow interior. The light-colored rounded binnacle housing reflects off the windshield leaving a blindspot that is, I think, dangerous. I've covered the binnacle with some black felt but it looks kind of funky. Any aftermarket fixes for this (like a carbon fiber shell covering, paint, etc.)?

Re: Willow dashboard reflection

Never noticed the problem in my AT 2003 willow coupe. And I'm in So. Cal. Strong enuf sun I guess. But I remembered another post about it recently. Not sure if anything came of it.

Re: Willow dashboard reflection

The reflection has something to do with the angle of the sun coming through the windshield. Even at night, there's some reflection from the glare of oncoming headlights. Covering the binnacle with black felt made an enormous difference, but it's not the most sexy modification I could have made to the car.

Sorry....but I have never really noticed a problem.
I am usually wearing polorized sunglasses when driving....maybe that helps.????
