Should I trade?

So there is a 2007 350z NISMO eddition for sale at a dealer here in CT for 19,900 with 8k on it. The catch is, it was reported as flooded and that is why it is selling for cheap, but the car runs and there are no odors and it looks mint. I have a 2004 g35 wit 35K on it. Im worried about the flooding part if it would cause problems latter down the road. Anyone have any advice?

The flooding is a very important factor if deciding whether or not to trade in your G. I don't have any experience with flooding, however if it doesnt prove to be that much of a negative factor, then I would do that trade in an instance. Good Luck!

You don't want a car that has been in a flood.

FLOODS ARE NO GOOD. It may run well now but later its gonna give you ****. There is water in places that could not be reached and will eventually turn to rust and corrosion problems down the road. And not just bodily, it WILL be mechanical. Water can seep into all types of places it shouldnt be. DONT DO IT. Im surprised the car doesnt have a salvage title?! You may be good for a while but you WILL regret it. Especially since your car only has 35K. Its a baby still! Love what you got!

I'm in the business and you don't want a flood car at any price. It will cause you problems down the road. It may have come from Nashville, TN we had a bunch of them.

Stay away. With all of the electronics on these newer cars, its only a matter of time before you start to experience issues.

Even if the car wasn't flooded, Z < G. I don't care how fast a Z can accelerate, a G is 10x better.

+1 for not getting a flooded car. I turn those cars away all day at the shop.
