Painting grille black on a white G? Yes or no?

I have a white G and was considering painting the grille black. Yay? Nay?

If Yay, what kind of paint do you recommend? Is black Plasti Dip a good choice?

i would say gloss black grill with white emblem, gloss black roof, gloss black mirror bases, black diffuser etc. If you're gonna do the grill black you need other black accents

Yay, i think every g coupe should have a black grill, but leave the emblem chrome. Plasti dip is a pretty good choice because you can take it off later if you no longer want it black.

thanks for the responses. the car does have black tinted windows all around (at least for now, i might have to take the tint off the two front windows to avoid tickets) so there is black throughout the car.

thanks for the response! yes, i was planning on taking the emblem out first and then painting the grille with the plasti dip, and then putting the emblem back in. the grill is actually brand new and hasnt been put into the car yet so it should be easy to paint.

No to all of the above....^....why do what soooo many other members have done? On your IP coupe the very best looking grille is the "Embless Black Grilles" from Juan at IONIC! They make your front end "POP" with this ultra cool look that makes it so clean it's jaw dropping! Check it out here on our MARKETPLACE under Vendor Exterior, Juan is a great vendor and will take care of your needs on future mods too....

Black grill with silver emblem is a great combo. Plastidip it if you want a more matte black look, get it painted if you want a gloss black look.

Black grille w black emblem wouldnt look right. Unless you're going for that "Murdered Out"Flat black look that a handful of clowns these days are upsessed about.
Kinda depreciates the car if you ask me.

like that one doode said. Black grille, silver emblem. Thats GG Lates
