Has anyone heard of these guys?

I was searching around looking for rims to save up money to buy. Was considering some Varrstoens or Tenzo M's. But I somehow came across these guys http://www.msrwheels.com/. MSR? They sell about $150-200 a rim. They're even on craigslist too http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/pts/2002266963.html. What do you guys think? I've never heard of them and was wondering if anyone has them?

Ummm those sound like utter crap... I understand budget rims as I am rocking Varrstoens but they at least look much better, are a better size, and have great choices in offsets.... Compared to this?

MSR Wheels, Style 0452, 18" x 8"
Offset: +35mm

Yea I get ya. I'm still in my teen ages so I'm not ready to spend 2gs+ on rims yet lol. But Varrstoens is number one on my rims list so far. Thanks for your opinion.

Keep it stock or buy OEM 19s then. No point in spending money to make your car look bad.

if you're putting cheap rims that means you are down-grading from your factory rims !!!

I'm 19....

MSR have been around a LONG time. About 150x longer than Varrstoen (no offence to Rich) but you can't hurt MSRs name, they have an amazing warranty and they make half decent wheels for dirt cheap.

Just get more aggressive wheels instead, they're harder to find but budget wheels do come aggressive.

Look into Rotas and order them from "wheeldude" you can get 10" rear with +20 offsets for sub $1000

Everyone....you gotta be very careful buying wheels from mail-order/on line, I made major mistakes with my first set of Volks. Wheels weren't perfect (scratches) and the worst part is the they were the wrong offsets which made driving with them dangerous. As I recall the offsets were in the mid 40s, they should have been exactly half of that....mid to low 20s. When your wheels arrive don't get too excited about installing them until you checked them out closely....condition/centers and correct offsets! Don't settle for anything but perfection....

Im currently rockin 20" staggered MSRs and they are decent. I want to buy more expensive new rims though. Not bc I think they are bad, but bc lip is not big enough and gettin tired of black w/ chrome lip. I hit some hard potholes with them and they seem to ride fine.
