Re: Why some people shouldn't be allowed to drive
BMW3toG35C, were you jay-walking? I bet you were. All the New Yorkers, for no reason at all, think they have the right of way on the roads, even though pedestrians have a set of traffic lights they're supposed to follow as well.
The guy must have been yelling that because he saw you jay-walking and he saw that car speeding along (whereas you didn't even notice) and he thought you were being super ballsy for trying to beat the speeding car.
NYCers have absolutely no right complaining about speeding cars and stuff like that. All they do is jaywalk all day long (I do it too, every week-end) and then they start pissing and moaning whenever somebody FINALLY gets hit by a car.

Re: Why some people shouldn't be allowed to drive
its wrecks liek that that make me appreciate the fact that i know what the word "counter-steer" means..... good god if ur gonna be driving like that.... at least practice controling it in a safe environment or something.... i lost my back end once around a 90* turn side by side with another car with no shoulder.... im sooooo glad i had drifted a little bit in the car before this because i was able to pull it back (had presence of mind not to hit brakes) and it ended up being a pretty badass little drift lol. I'm not saying that if the guy had known how to drive... that woulda been an ok manuver to attempt.... but im just saying he woulda kept from wrecking his shop .... then again if he did a beautiful drift around that turn... he would taken out the bike... so i guess whatever.... dont take away the guys license... give him something with like 50hp fwd.... that way when he goes into a turn that fast it'll just hit mad understeer and hit the wall opposite where he ended up lol

---How funny would you find it if it had been you in that video,
I would have laughed and knew I deserved it or just shut up crawl in my little hole. That guy doesn't deserve sympathy. He clearly did it to show off and not only he put himself at risk he almost took out two people at the same time. So yes I will laugh at his misfortune because he put it upon himself. Nothing immoral or demented with that.
That's like saying we should cut Saddam or Bin Laden a break, if they walk across the street and got hit by a car we should cry for them.
No thanks, I will stick to laughing.
-----If "most people" (I assume you're including yourself) enjoy seeing other people get injured or killed, we're doomed.
That is the truth. That's why the movie Jackass sells so well because people enjoy watch other people suffer. Why else would you watch a video people bash their head on cement walks, paper cut their hand and eat yellow snow cone.
That's why we have so many "Owned" pictures, laugh at Martha Stewart get send to prison and why there are always more bad news on your local news.
--I hope someday you get over the illness in you that makes you regard other people's suffering this way.
That is completely unnecessary. Why are you trying to pick a fight with me. I am just stating the facts. I am sure if some dumbass driver endanger yourself on the freeway you won't be wishing the best luck of him (Suppose he cut you off because he drives a bimmer and he wants to show a G35c driver what's up.) In fact you will probably be hoping he crash.
On a lighter note, another dumbass driver on video. Right click and save as.

For the 1st video
can we spell the word "Track"?
For the 2nd video
This kid obviously does not even KNOW how to drive a stick shift.
Sucks for the jetta owner...
The person who was filming this obviously needs to grow up a lil. Kid his *** bro, that dude is probably already feeling like shiet and you wanna see him get his *** handed to himself?

I don't know what to say in response to this post, MrE. You and I have exchanged some cordial PMs in the past, but I'm speechless this time.
Your post and others in this thread have led me to decide to take a break from this board for now. It's been overrun with testosterone addled young men for much too long, and I've had enough. Celebrate my departure if you like, or lament the loss of what might be a voice of reason.

Re: Why some people shouldn't be allowed to drive
What and idiot :-) You guys probably know but for those who don't, it's actually a Peugeot 206. I've driven it and it's such a girly car. It doesn't hog the corners at all and it's highly unstable in high speeds. Also the stock tire is usually Michelin Energy which is anything BUT sporty.
The funniest moment is when the guy realizes his [censored] and tries so hard to steer away ;-) well too late buddy, you busted your POS 206.
I wonder what these guys would do if they grew up and drove real cars...

I know you will read this even if you are refraining yourself from posting so here is what I have to say,
It's funny how you exclude yourself from the testosterone addled young man group and got on the high horse yourself. Matured adults wouldn't have snapped at my comment, which clearly had no hostile intention towards you. Neither will they start labeling people with names, "testosterone addled young man," or claiming people have "illness."
Maybe it is your attitude that caused the other New Yorker to wish ill will upon you?
To those self righteous, arrogant New Yorkers, I have this to say to you, Boston Red Sox. =P (And I don't even watch baseball)

Re: Why some people shouldn't be allowed to drive
wow...that crashed looked real...anyhow..i think i did a turn like that for 100 times or more...the reason why he couldn't counter-steer in my opinion is because he had his brakes locked up.....obviously he was panicking and just locked up his brakes and just let the car slide to the wall....poor dude
