I got a red 06 6MT with 75k miles on it a few months ago. I was not wild about the color but then again, just about any color would have been fine with me. I paid $17k for it. Not a great deal but it the 6MT does come with the 19" forged wheels, sport package, a few more HP, etc. I'm okay with the exterior color but I really don't like the brown/beige interior color. Much prefer the black interior. But seriously, don't worry about the color. Find the right car and buy it for what makes this car great: performance and classic lines.

Seems we have pretty much the same car dude. Mine is the sport, full aero, and rear steer.
The camel interior was easily the key reason I bought this car new. Gives the car a much lighter and roomier look inside. For instance; now that you're used to it, go to the dealership and sit inside a red unit with black interior. You'll be amazed. The light leather is also cooler fwiw.
Oh... the other thing about the light interior is you cannot get it at all now with the sport package. It's available with the Journey, but not if you add the Sport package (with the 6mt of course).
One thing about the red though is I'd have to say it's the worst possible paint job on all these cars when it comes to the durability of the paint.
Before I'd drive mine I had the entire front end, headlights and all done in clear bra. Freaking paint is so thin it should be embarrassing for Infiniti. The metallics are several mils thicker.

Laser Red is very schweet on these cars. It is however a SERIOUS cop magnet!!!
I know that from more experience than you can imagine.
Luckily only one ticket since I bought mine new however. That's not to say that they don't try to get me every chance they get though. Invest in a Passport laser dector (and laser shifter if you can).

If I had it to do again I might go with one of the blues. But wouldn't resist another red one if I could get the light leather and sport package on a 6mt. Been lucky with my resale value because of the low miles. I wouldn't lose but $10K to $11K from what I paid cash for mine new. Mine listed at just under 41 and I paid 36 (plus tax) back in 06 cash out the door. Was a pretty good deal at the time, plus my dealership gives lifetime loaners, 10% off everything, and a nice discount off any worked deal should I purchase again.
