What is this part?

What is this for and is it any good. Obviously its a chassis brace but I havent seen any talk of them here. Mostly sway bars and strut braces.

It stiffens up the frame so it has less flex.

No real need for it if your car isnt really taking much abuse. Its good for track or high hp cars.
