Gina - My OB 6MT Coupe From Day 1 - a story in pictures
A progression thread for my ride:
- Page 6 - updated MG2 trunk
- Page 7 - updated Chargespeed rear, DD and other stuff
- Page 9 - Sparco Seats - Engine bay shots
- Page 10 - Dyno run
- Page 11 - New wheels - Work Gnosis GS4's
- Page 15 - Interior picture - seats/shiftboot/armrest
I purchased my car on January 2nd, 2008 - a 2006 6MT with 12,000 miles.
Here she sits at the dealer:
The first thing i did was remove the badges and install LED's and clear corners and Bat's eyelids:
Then it was time to install my Tein CS coilovers and EDFC and SPC rear arms:
Finally after a long wait my wheels arrived - 19" Volk GTS:
Next up was Klumzee's CF Gialla grill:
This is how she sat for awhile besides a few minor things here and there until i purchased my HKS exhaust:
Then I decided to paint my headlights black:
Grew tired of the Gialla and went to a black painted grill and a CF rear diffuser:
The car was starting to get a little too dark and needed some color so a set of Carbon Fiber center caps with red logos, candy apply Akebono's and red lugs should help that problem!
Next - my Arch Industries Poly K2 Remix showed up after a LONG 6 month wait - totally worth it though! And my Hideaway plate:
Then the my Polyurethane Impul sides showed up from Arch as well - again - well worth the wait
Then it was time to step my game up - here comes boost with a Vortech Supercharger!!
Now as she sits with my Siebon TS CF hood:
And I recently removed the rear wing
old setup:
current setup:
Future plans are:
New Clutch/Flywheel - edit: page 10 - southbend clutch and fidanza flywheel install at 70K miles
Strafe CF trunk - edit: went with Mastergrade MG2 CF trunk - Page 6
Racing Seats - Sparco R505's Page 9
DD - Navigation/stereo - Page 7
Hope you enjoy the process and the pics - I know i have!!

LOL - not quite that much but i try not to think about it b/c I would vomit... probably the worst financial investment ever - but definitely the most fun!!
I agree and prefer the OEM hood - but this is for function - engine bay gets extremely hot and the heat soak is bad - this helps alleviate some of the problems associated with that
