G35 muffler question?

so about 3 weeks ago the end of my muffler pipe rotted out and i just got it fixed yesterday. i brought it to a shop and and they said since it was rotted out they had to weld on another pipe. Now the problem is i feel like the car is quieter than before. Maybe im being paranoid about it since my car was really loud for 3 weeks? also will this cause any future problems if i decided to take off my whole exhaust? Thanks.

It is really quiet because they fixed the hole. your car is sounding as it should be. i don't see any problem of the repair

I'm sure it's a case of being drastically different than what you've been hearing the last 3 weeks.

dude if you had an exhaust leak because of a giant hole your car was prolly much louder due to the leak! Now that its fixed it sounds like it should from the factory! x3 with what these guys say

You will be running open headers and it will be LOUD, but it will not cause any problems

This is the best advice....^....and should do until you decide to get a real exhaust system!

I know my car was loud when i had the leak, i was just asking becuase it seemed to me that my car is quieter now than when i first bought it. I was just asking if that extra pipe couldve changed something.. It was probably me being paranoid.
