Leasing a G35 also y is the c class smoother?

after reading posts about the g35s here, i finally might get one. One concern though is the ride is not as comfortable as i expected. i rode both a g35c and a c class benz and i can say that the c class is a very comfortable and a smooth ride. but i got quoted for a 04 g35c at 15000 sport package premium and spoiler for 2500 down and 420 a month for 4 yrs. is that a decent deal down in so cal? let me hear your opionions

Are you leasing a coupe or sedan? You're saying g35c and then g35s. A C class will be smoother than a g35c. Thats because its a sports car.

The C class is smoother because it's designed that way. But it's not as sporty or fun as the G35.

MB's have been having lots of quality problems lately too!

Re: Leasing a G35 also y is the c class smoother?

i wrote my whole post and decided to add this to the top rather than the bottom. Pretty much everyone is going to say that its "supposed to be like that." I guess your only solution would be to add softer springs or add full coilovers.... i would say tein CS system would be ur best bet. The cs stands for Comfort System i believe and would be good for u. Also with the CS's you could get edfc for another 300 or so and be able to go back to stiff suspension if u decide that u wanna go tear up the twisties and then back to softer if u wanna just be comfortable.

..... sports cars are supposed to have sport suspension.... i feel like my car isnt tite enough and im actually going to increase the spring rates 2x and make it a lot stiffer.... my mom drives a g35 sedan without performance/sport suspension, and she even says how much she likes how her car handles. She drove the q45 or the i45 (not sure which because SHE's not sure) and she said it had more comfy seats but that the g35 handled a lot better and she liked how it drove a lot more..... so if my mom thinks the suspension is good.... how can a man not lol

basically what im saying is.... you wouldnt buy a porsche and complain that u can feel the road and that its bouncy and stiff.... you just dont buy a performance vehicle and do that..... thats all there is to it.

Re: Leasing a G35 also y is the c class smoother?

I agree that C class is much smoother, and the new 2005 model has better handling too. I was quite surprise that the new C-class sport sedan can do cornering as good as my previous bimmer. Also, their improved 6-speed gearbox is sweet too.....Last but not least, their interior is much nicer than our G now.

P.S. I am seriously considering to trade-in my G for a C

Well my family has both, and the C Class is much smoother.. first of all it's a mercedes.. it's a WHOLE different type of car than the g35, it has a cheaper interior, but the traction is better than the g35. BUT who wants a car w/ 189 or 215 tops hp? Come on now...

Re: Leasing a G35 also y is the c class smoother?

My friend test drove a manual C Class and he was so impressed and wants one badly now. Then I looked up the specs and it only has HP in the low 200's. I hope he doesn't buy it. He hasn't been in my G35 yet, so I'll need to take him for a spin to make him forget about that Benzo.
