Couple of quick questions about my 35

Hey guys

Just bought a 35. Its a *** spec car that was imported here to AUS in 08. I know the guy that has owned it the whole time since its been here aswell which is pretty good.

Anyway im planning onusing this as a 99% track car as overhere i cant legally drive it due to it having a TD06 strapped to the side of it

It goes pretty well but im a bit worried i blew 40k on a car that wont drive very well.

Is there anyway i can get more steering lock? My old fc has close to 60deg and i know guys over here that have almost 90deg. I really want to be able to do crazy entries and possibly even backwards entries lol.

Also do these cars every have a problem with overheating? Im pretty sure for memory it has a Greddy/trust or some *** radiator in it. (i have only parked it in my shed and moved it out twice to work on my fc since ive owned it. Havnt driven it yet to find out lol)

Also are these cars strong or will they fall apart at the first sign of drifting? By the look of it the whole rear cradle has been seam welded and the last owner said its seam welded inside the boot aswell but i havnt had time to pull the boot lining & spare wheel etc out.

What can i remove to make it lighter but not destroy a 40k car (as i can drive it on the road in 12 months)

And does anyone make a bolt in rollcage for these? And is the seat rail to run a bride fixed back the same as a 350z at all?

Thanks heaps in advance guys,

Brad

Remove pass seat, rear seats, spare tire, buy lighter wheels (but will cost quite a bit) and take a huge dump before u drift so that way u won't have any extra weight

thankyou to everyone for your serious imput...

Car has a full aftermarket system & headers (obviously as its turbo)

Spare wheel will be removed when i get around to it. 17" is no good to me as it wont even clear the rear brakes. Wouldnt be game to put it ont he front

And the car has volt racing CE28's for memory. Light as even in the 19x10 it has on it.

Biggest problem is the steering lock in these things. Its pretty pathetic. My fc doesnt have a lot of work done to it and in my opinion is a much better car. Might just look at re-listing it and selling it as there doesnt seem to be a lot of good things i have heard about these.
