So I was driving yesterday and all of a sudden I heard a suction noise and then my sunroof cover thing started shaking. I opened it up and the glass to my sunroof was gone.
Luckily there was no one behind me
Any ideas why this would happen? I went to the dealer and they said they never saw anything like that happen and it's not gonna be covered cuz I'm out of warranty.

Didn't bother to check. I assumed it would.
I only check to see if the car behind me was still good

The sunroof bolts do get loose over time. 1st sign is a "popping" noise when driving up and down an incline or decline.
The dealership re-torqued my bolts about 3 months ago under warranty.
