Question Could be a very dumb question...

This isn't in the right forum either, but I am at work and my filter blocks the "G-Spot" because of it's obvious name...lol

I have been lurking the forums for quite some time, haven't really posted because i don't have much knowledge to contribute about the cars so i am soaking up as much info about these coupes that i can.

Seen many times that that stock paint they use on these cars is not very high quality, often chips and is referred to as soft....The question is, so when you guys get scrapes and scuffs and what not, when you take it to get matched and repainted, the new paint job is actually better quality than the stock??

Thanks

Thats the only thing I hate about this OB paint is that every time I wash and wax it I find anither scratch or chip. $35k car (when new) and Infiniti couldnt even put a decent paint job on it.

My aftermarket bumper and grille is painted with better quality paint/clear, but I pay a high price for the quality. The best thing we can do is keep our Infinity's clean and highly waxed for the best protection we can give em.
G35 Dream, quit parking on the reservation....

+1 on Gary's post.

Infiniti's clear coat is as hard as hot melted butter.
