Is there a way to reverse the traction control button?
The first thing I have to do every time I get in my car is hit the VDC button. is there a way to reverse it so that I hit it when I want it on?
There was a thread kicking around sometime back that had info about disabling traction control, I remember reading something about a sensor under the center console that you had to unplug or bypass to fully disable VDC. Don't recall if it helped with the switch but might try searching for that (try either DIY or Drivetrain section mabye, it's been a while).

Yay me, I found the link! It'll be cheaper and easier to buy the part from KPTechnologies, but here's the how-to link if you're bored...

There is.. it's called continue hitting the button. Doesn't get any easier or cheaper then that.
If you have changed the gearing in the rear axle and really get on it with VDC enabled, it will be more likely to trigger the "no fun" mode.
If the outer diameter of your wheel/tire sizes have changed significantly from stock and you really get on it with VDC enabled, it will be more likely to trigger the "no fun" mode.
If you just like slipping the back end out or enjoy spinning tires...
If you think you're a better judge of your vehicle dynamics than the Bosch yaw control box under the console...
There are a few reasons, there's probably more out there but these are good enough for many. The KPTech relay coupled with the switch on the Bosch box is nice, would recommend it, but your driving style and desire will vary.
Personally, the only times I have VDC on are when my wife's in the car or the roads are slick from heavy rain or the very rare ice/snow that hits NC.
