How about 17s to 19s
And isn't it better to rebalance them?

You should always "rebalance" when switching wheels, an alinement won't hurt too.

You could go from 16" to 19" if you wanted to and everything would work smooth as long as your wheel/tire combo was balanced and the offsets were correct for the application. On our G35s there's no problem going from the OE 17" to OE 19" since it's been done numerous times for years....
