Coupe vs Sedan
Coupe vs Sedan
I was just wondering about some differences between the 2 cars.
1. Is insurance more for the coupe?
2. I know the sedan is bigger, but how is the back seat and trunk space for the coupe?
3. Do the coupes come with brembos? I don't think they are even an option with the sedan.

Re: Coupe vs Sedan
Insurance I am not sure. The rear space is good for anyone 5'3" or shorter. Trunk space is minimal(Two Golf Bags lol)..The high end coupe comes with brembos..

The rear space is kind of bizarre. The leg room is excellent, but anyone tall enough to need that much leg room will have his head pressed up against the rear window. Tall people need to do a pronounced slouch, or lean sideways across both rear spaces.
The trunk is small compared to the average sedan, but with the back seat down and the pass through, it's big enough for a 6'2" person to sleep in (not that I actually slept in it, I just wanted to see if I could).
So if you have small kids and don't need to haul more than a few beach chairs and a cooler at the same time, it's outstanding. If you want to haul alot of luggage and have no kids, it's fine. If you need to haul more than 2 people over 5'7" on a frequent basis, I think you need the Sedan.

Trunk space for the coupe:
Because of the way it's shaped and its height, I could barely fit ONE small U-Haul box in there. You know how U-Haul sells boxes and their smallest box (for books and stuff) is labeled "small box"? Good luck trying to put more than one in there.
The trunk is really only good for grocery and stuff that you put in bags.

Re: Coupe vs Sedan
Insurance wise I don't think there was too much differance at least with my ins. company. The backseat is very comfy for a 2+2 coupe. But again 6+ footers will be bumpin their heads on the rear window glass. The Trunk is real tiny, but the fold down rear seat helps. I was actually able to fit all gear and two snowboards no problem. I say unless you have a big family or need your car to entertain business clients, go for the coupe. Peace.

Re: Coupe vs Sedan
I've had both, and they've both got good attributes. The Sedan is great looking, spacious, has all the ammenities, and sporty and powerful to boot. Visibility and comfort are excellent. I still miss the memory driver's seat.
The Coupe has a couple fewer ammenities and smaller interior space. But where it lacks a tad in practicallity, it makes up in looks and a touch more sportiness and power.
For younger families, or for toteing more than 2 peeps, the Sedan is ideal. If your needs don't include carrying more than 2 adults, and you can live with 2 less doors and a small trunk, the Coupe is 'DA BOMB', with the accent on sport rather than practicallity.
Insurance was about $50 a year more so not a factor. Economy is down in the Coupe compared to the Sedan by about 10%. More of a factor.
Brembos come with 6 speed Coupes only (so far).
I loved my Sedan, but I'm even happier with my Coupe.
