Help!!

SO this morning while driving back home I started my car up and backed out the drive way no problem. Get to a stop sign shift into first try into second and my rpms shot up, i thought i missed the gear. so i tried shifting to 3rd and same so i pulled off the road. Tried putting it back into first and nothing car will not move. The funny thing is that while the car is on i can shift into all gears without pushing down the clutch. can anyone help. bummed..

2007 g35, 6 speed manuel, coupe, 60,000 miles.

Your clutch is going out. Its slipping. Your rpms will skyrocket but you will go nowhere.

The vendors on here have an Act and Excedy combo for around 600. The flywheel is lighter and chatters, but if you can deal with it you wont have to pay for a stock one again.

The stock flywheels alone are 1k. They are dual massed and cannot be resurfaced. They dont chatter though. Its upto you though.

I have Act and Excedy and i have had it on over 50k with no problems. Hope this helps.

Just been there before lol. There is also a plate on your bellhousing that allows you a little peek into see your clutch. I recommend taking off the three or four screws and taking a peek. Should smell burnt.

Unless the clutch had been slipping for awhile, you guys think that's all it is.? I've never had a car drive normal and then just completely go out where the car won't even move..

I have. It was this one. Felt it slipping at a light on the way home. Made it to my street and poof. It all depends on if the fiber comes apart and how much is still there to make contact.

You won't find a better clutch than ACT and you can buy them here on our MARKETPLACE...."Good Luck!"
