Question Which G should I choose?

Sup guys!

Right now I'm considering 2 cars:

1. 06 White AT with 68K. Its pretty much loaded with everything minus NAV. This is being sold at a dealer, so by the time you add TTL it comes out to $17.2K

2. 04 Red MT with 62K. Sport pkg and it still has an Infiniti warranty until Nov of next year. This is a private sale and the owner is only asking $14.8K

My first BIG question is is there a difference between the 04 and 06 G35? Interior and exterior differences? 68K on a AT kinda worries me, should I be concerned?

So which one would you get?

Thanks for the space!

Tony "future G owner"

I went from auto to manual ( sold auto for manual ) ... Completely different driving experience ... I would definitely go with the 04 ...

But in case you decide to go with the 06 auto there nothing wrong with getting a higher mileage auto... Has nothing to do with it...

There is a slight difference in the two... Slight difference in interior, rear tail lights, front bumper, headlights (06 projectors) , little more horse power on the 06 , etc.

This is where I'm stuck. The pics I've seen for the 04 and 06 look identical. I can't see any difference! What am I missing?

The taillights, headlight, front bumper, center console, and more horsepower are basically the only differences.

Go with the '04 if you want a MT, body style is very close between the two. Only the interior is somewhat different. The only thing with the '04 is that you'll need to replace the headlights with the '06+ projectors since there's such a major difference....

Whoops forget to add the 06 comes with 19's as well where the 04 with either come with 17's for non brembo and 18's with brembo...

If the 06 mt I would definitely go for the 06 as frankie said better styling... But I guess it also depends on personal preference for transmission... I like 6mt which is why I said 04 ... If you want an AT ... Then just got for the 06 .

What do you mean by projectors? The 04 has HIDs. Is that completely different?

Thanks again guys

I would do 04..
it is fun to drive manual transmission and it has better value retention because it more rare than the automatic one. 04 and 06 look differently? big deal, you can always update the look because they are all minor stuffs. what is the down side? 03-04 transmission sucks, but 06 might have engine oil consumption problem too. it is all depends on your luck

the 06 has projectors in the headlight its way cleaner. the 06 tailights in the rear have the silver button truck release button.they also have dimples in the taillights with rectangular reverse lights instead of the circles that the 04 have.the 06 interior is newer and way hotter than the 04. the 06 seats dont have the ripping problem in the leather.most people who have 03-05 g35s wynd up swapping ther parts for 06 parts.... the 06 is over all a way btter car. and in ur case the color is hot, lol i am a laser red owner myself.! GO 06!!!

I had a 2006 AT that I loved, but I got rid of it for something with a MT. All things equal I would go with the 2004.
