MREV2 Sale

Hey,

I was searching for the best price on the Motordyne MREV2 collector and ran across this:

http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/11-3098

All other prices I have found are in the $450 - $500 range. So this looks like a good deal. It listed for the Z, but I doubt there is any difference. Anyone know for sure?

Rick

Same motor as ours so yes it will fit. That's an amazing price for an new MREV2, good looking out.

I know the engines are the same, I just wondered if there were some different vacuum fittings or slight differences like that.

Will this fit the 07 G35 coupe 6mt with the hi-rev engines???? and one question would you this mod before you get a spacer would it still work well cuz I'm kinda broke so i can only afford 1 right now and since it is a great price I was thinking of doing this. Any advice would be great thank you all.

Most people use the MREV2 with the spacer. You can use either one sepately though. I had the spacer for a while before the MREV2.

Amazing deal!!! Having the spacer alone was not too much noticeble in power gain, but after adding the MREV2 i felt the power at mid range....

Hmmm that does look like a pretty good deal. Still thinking about an engine swap but that's kind of tempting for the meantime.

Nah you're mistaken. An MREV2 is a plenum modified by Tony at Motordyne.

Technically you can use either one, but if you have a revup, having just one or the other won't do anything, you need to have both to see the gains. Non-revup's, such as yourself, only need the spacer. The MREV2 will only give you very minimal gains on your non-revup. I suggest you use that money towards another mod instead.

Well, I got my MREV2 intake today. Two of the inlets appeared to have been shortened and polished, so I decided to polish up the other inlets too. I used a Dremel tool with an 80 grit sanding wheel and then a cloth polishing wheel with some compound. Not sure how much difference it will really make, but I guess it doesn't hurt.

It's a holiday tomorrow, so I'll be installing this...
