i seen that hood on a corvette, painted the color of the car (blue)... and it looked alright... but not on a G it looks like ish to me!

 

I like it, it didn't look too good to me when I saw the hood ALONE, but on the G35, w/ his "theme" I think it looks great! Plus I'm sure he will get rims soon

Come on now, I'm sure it's one thing to give contructive criticism/advice ("such as getting some rims would be good")... but I don't think that outright bashing w/ no backup is necessary--not aimed at anybody in particular of course =D

I thought for sure that there would be some type of law banning ricing out G35's... There's just something completely wrong with juxtaposing that kind of hood and the Infiniti badge. He just dropped into the 15k-25k automobile market. Appreciate the artistic design the car was built with... It's one thing to modify internals, but to start messing with the body... cmon, this isnt a honda.

It's like plastic surgery, why mess with your body? be happy with what you got, now start improving the internals, that hood must have cost at least 4 bills, with which you could have used for upgrade you can feel, upgrades that YOU will notice, not upgrades to please or hurt others eyes.

Maybe if he painted it, it would look better. Doesn't go with the lines of the car. Maybe rims would help too.

You're right, let me amend my previous post by offering the owner this constructive criticism - take that monstrosity off your car and get whatever you can for it on ebay!

i did have the oem style CF hood for a week, then i saw the FUZION (current one) in person, i was like DAMN it looks mean.

for all those guys thinks it looks bad, what kinda rims should i put on to make it a lil better?

who ever told me to spend the $400+ on engine or watever to get power, I ALREADY DID, not i can only spend on visual now.

I think the biggest problem is that the rest of the exterior of the car is completely stock. He may as well have just put an unpainted rear bumper on or something.

I think I have to agree with everyone else... The hood is a little too aggresive for my taste. I have always liked the AAR Cuda or Camaro SS Style hood scoop. Does anyone make one of those for the G?

Anyhow, it's your ride man drive it with pride and do what ever make you happy no matter how ricey she looks... (Just kidding)

you need some big three piece iforged wheels black rim with chrome lip and i would go with an all around body kit too to soften the agression brought up by your hood
