Way too many "Empty Garages"....?

Theres constantly so much emphasis on needing to mod your ride and not driving a stock G that I've been apprehensive to post any pics. Truth be told there are more then a fair amount of people who are all too willing to criticize on this forum. In fact, of the multiple (5+) forums I belong to, this one is the most critical, and least friendly. What makes that worse is that I belong to several Rap music related forums, (a form of entertainment not known for being kind) and the guys are there are WAY more friendly in most cases. I feel that since my ride isn't modded that I need to constantly explain why it isn't when visiting this forum, and would feel the need to post pictures of my house, my home theatre, my gaming collection, etc to justify why I haven't spent a **** ton of money on my G (which I've only owned for 8 months). Will I ever post pictures? Most likely, however being January and that we're supposed to get a good amount of snow in the next few days, it probably won't be anytime soon.
I'm perplexed when I see pictures of heavily modified G's, then read their owners later writing about how their car got keyed or broken into while parked in their apartment parking lot or parent's driveway. I'm not wishing that on anyone, b.t.w. - just pointing out that people have different priorities and make different choices about how to manage their (or their parents') money.
I'd love to do a 4.15L, TT build on my coupe, and I have the financial resources to do it. I'm not fifteen anymore though, so it's not so important to be able to outrun an ugly tin-can on wheels like an EVO.
Personally I get a lot more satisfaction from knowing I have accumulated enough assets to not have to move back in with mom & dad if I lost my job - than I would from knowing my car is the fastest on the block.
That's what the motorcycle is for anyway. If you're not bringing 700+ R.W.H.P. to the party, I'm just going to shake my head and laugh when you line up next to me.
Garage updated. I was unaware of this feature...never really had an interest in it until this thread popped up.

You might hear crap like drop it or get wheels but honestly our coupes are beautiful just the way they came from Japan.Bout time....^....I've been posting pic of SLICK from the first time she brought home a trophy and all she had was her first set of Volks she was less than a year old!

I never put anything in my garage until recently because I was too lazy to fill out everything lol. I also didn't have any nice pictures before. I didn't even think people looked at garages haha.
