Side Door Panels - Can They Come Off?

Hi guys. Been a fan of these forums for awhile, first time posting since I'll be doing some modifications to my '03.

Are the side panels glued onto the body of the car? Are they as easy to shave off as the G/Infiniti emblems on the back and side? Will there be any gaping holes I should be aware of before taking on this adventure?

My apologies if there is already a thread about this.

I think the topic title is misleading. When I saw "door panels" I immediately thought you were removing the inside door panels.

I'd call it a door guard, or door ding strip, side/door molding. Might make any searches you do easier as well.

Yes you can remove from your Coupe (unlike on the sedan you'd have to get your doors welded to fill the holes and completely repainted). Will look much cleaner.
