Track Racing
Hello, before I begin I want to say please don't start a war I just wanted what you guys think and what advice would you give me?
I want to start doing a little track racing, something to do on the weekends once a month or so. However I don't really have a huge budget to begin with
my budget would be nothing more then $10000, and I know that isn't a hole lot. Here is my question to you guys. I do have a 07 G35 coupe 6MT and I am willing to give up a lot for this car to become a track car, however it will be my only DD. Or spend the 10K on another car and keep the G stock as my DD
I want your help and advice. What would you guys recommend??? Buying something like a 240? or making my G a track car????
Thank you all and have a great weekend

What kind of track racing? 1/4 mile or road racing? Have you ever road raced before? You don't have to have an insanely fast car to have fun. Throw on some food breaks and basic bolt on mods and go race and see how much fun have'
Bolt-ons, tune, gears, DR's, slight weight reduction, low DA and most importantly, seat time. Times will always vary from track to track and from day to day.
Where are you located? Various clubs (NOT SCCA) around the country do driving schools and time trials (attack). If you are in the Northeast I'll be glad to send you more info.
