This started about 3 nights ago, and when i accelerate or keep a constant top speed it sounds like something its tapping on my rear window very fast . Making this noise that sounds like those rattle snake eggs



Imma drive later tonight with the seats down. Any ideas ?

 

I have no idea what rattle snake eggs are. But have you checked if its your passenger seat belt rattling against the door?

 

Ya that is the same problem I have with mine. It's the seat belt tapping against the door

 

The rear axle click thing maybe? Sounds are funny and can travel.

lol , naw its not the axle click , got that fixed. It has stopped for now, knock on wood

 

I got the same rattle. It stopped for me also and I haven't heard it for a while

 

I have this same issue. Near as I cab tell it's from my third brake light. Do you have an interior brake light? Also are your windows tinted? It's an issue that seemed to surface more prominently after I got mine tinted. As a test take some thin cloth like a hankerchief and insert it between the light and the window. I've found this to vastly reduce but not eliminate the sound.

OMFG i love you , i did get my windows tinted recently its driving me nuts crazy ! tommorow im going to tighten or do w.e you said to my stupid third break light. thanks you very much sir

 

OMG ITS BACK AGAIN !! I know where its coming from. The sound is coming from the rear dash near the center brake light . WHERE IS THE DIY FIX IT for this , i found it before but cant find it now !

 

My tapping sound is from my rear seat latch, I can't push in my seat in enough to pop the release button up. So now my rear seat is loose. If anyone knows how to fix this please share lol

 

bump, still hearing that f**kin tapping noise !

 

The passenger seat adjuster rattles if the seat isn't at a specific angle and if the seat belt guides aren't in the up position the belt rattles against the door. These are all things I learned the first month I owned my coupe.

maybe the led inside the rear dash brake light isnt tight? or u have a rattle snake in the trunk..?
